Welcome to the course Reading Course in Business Studies!

Welcome to the “Reading Course in Business Studies” at Uppsala University Campus Gotland.
The aim of the course is to train participants in writing a literature review for a research topic or question within the field of business studies. This includes specifying a research question or topic, finding relevant literature, reading and analyzing the material, and presenting the results in writing.
During the course, participants start by selecting a question or topic in consultation with the course leader, and then work independently, supported by seminars. The course is taught in English.
Required readings: There are no required course books for this course. Selected articles explaining and illustrating how to write literature reviews can be found under Documents - Course readings; additional articles may be distributed during the course. Beyond that, students will read academic literature related to their research topic.
Given the current situation, in line with decisions made by the Department of Business Studies, the course will be taught as a distance course via zoom.
